Anthem Cares through Service (ACTS) presents the 5th Annual ACTS Auction benefiting families in need in Anthem, Arizona.

The Auction will kick off on February 20, 2015 at 4:30pm at the Ironwood Country Club in Anthem, Arizona. Hundreds of exciting auction items will be available to choose from such as art, wine, gift certificates, vacation packages, golf packages, and much more! This promises to be a fun-filled night to remember.

“Little acts of kindness and assistance goes a long way to help Anthem families get back on their feet. The proceeds generated from the ACTS auction provide this support”, said Joe Huseonica, ACTS Auction Chair.

Founded in 2009 to meet the growing needs of the Anthem community, ACTS is comprised of over 70 volunteers who raise and distribute funds, help with utility bills, provide transportation, prepare meals, obtain groceries and assist with projects such as home or yard cleaning.

“Please support ACTS through auction attendance and/or a donation” added Mr. Huseonica.

From now to December 12th, Anthem Pets is auctioning great gift items, with the highest bidder at the close of the auction winning the item(s). As beautiful as our community is, the sad fact is that many Anthem residents are in need. Last year, NAAAP-member organizations helped well over hundreds of persons in need. These include people who are hungry, who are or may become homeless, who are ill and struggling to get the medical care they need and even people who laboring just to keep their pet. NAAAP organizations help with resources which come from fund raisers over the year and from your donations. On Giving Tuesday or any time this holiday season, NAAAP asks that you support your area charities so they can help our neighbors. ACTS Holiday Home Tour

Please donate toys, clothes, gift cards or cash to NAAAP-member Daisy Mountain Firefighters Charities’ Christmas Toy Drive. All donations collected will go to local families, children in need at John C Lincoln’s Mendy’s Place and the Arizona Children’s Center at the Maricopa Medical Center. Look for firefighters and volunteers at collection point at the Anthem Walmart between 10 and 3 on the following days: Saturday, Nov. 22; Sunday, November 23; Saturday, Nov. 29; Sunday, Nov. 30; Sunday, Dec. 7; Saturday, Dec. 13; and Sunday, December 14.
